CHRISTIAN MOTHER BELIEVES IN THE STICK FOR EASTER SERVICE
I remember when I was 17, I hated waking up in the morning. Mornings were the bane of my teenage existence. Of course, that is totally normal for a 17 year old. That’s an age where you are still growing. Your brain is in overdrive processing everything there is to learn. But that’s also with the steady distractions that hormones bring, too. So I remember having a hard time appreciating my mother being all sweet and insistent that I get my butt out of bed. In fact, I hated it something fierce. But now, I know how lucky I was! My mother never Tased me awake on a Sunday morning to go to Easter service! But that is exactly what happened to the poor, 17-year-old son of Sharron Dobbins.
TEENAGE BOY TASED AWAKE, BECAUSE JESUS NEVER SLEPT IN
Police arrested the 40-year-old mother for using a Taser on her son. Specifically, Sharron used a “contact Taser” on her teenage son, according to court documents entered into the public record. Sharron told police that she only “sparked” the Taser and didn’t actually use it on him. But an 18-year-old relative says they witnessed the deed, saying she did in fact Tase her sleeping son. Now I know some parents are really motivated to get their kids to church. I also know that’s especially true for Christmas and Easter. But how Old Testament Parochial is it to use a Taser on your sleeping child? And on the Third Day, She Tased him again? Crazy stuff. All to go to Easter service.

The victim, and former sleeping 17-year-old, told police that his mother did indeed Tase him. But he is not willing to testify against her. So far, there is no word what affect that will have on Sharron’s charges. Her son did have physical evidence in the shape of two bumps on his skin. That’s the normal sign of a Tase site. That also means momma did more than spark that thing. She was arrested for one count of child abuse. The judge also released her from jail with the condition that she not have any weapons, including a Taser, and that she not “initiate any contact with the arresting officer.” Interesting, right? There’s clearly more to that story. It’s just as well we’re not all watching a video online now called Don’t Tase me, Mom…..
