DRUG DEALER GIVES MICHIGAN COPS FAKE ID, FAKE ID ALSO HAD OUTSTANDING WARRANTS
So I don’t really know about all the old sayings about how cops only catch stupid criminals. But man, sometimes it really seems like stupid is as stupid does all the way to jail. But I do like the saying, if you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime. And while I’m generally torn about the War on Drugs, I’m not torn about the people who sell to an eager market, especially when it entails violence. And this here story is about a drug dealer. IF YOU DON’T WANT MICHIGAN COPS TO NOTICE YOU, DON’T DUCK DOWN IN THE DAMN CAR
Um, oops? So what happened is that the cops approached a car and saw the passenger in it duck down, like they didn’t want to be seen. Well, that’s a sure way to get police attention. So they of course asked for his name. Ok, this is still sort of normal. But when cops ran the name, they found a number of outstanding warrants for their arrest. So they arrested him! Except, they didn’t arrest the criminal they thought they were arresting. What a strange world, right?

MICHIGAN COPS DIDN’T ACTUALLY KNOW WHO THEY ARRESTED TILL THEY RAN HIS PRINTS
So of course, the duck down and get attention drug dealer had meth on him that police quickly found when they arrested him. Well, and a scale and baggies. Not at all incriminating. Well, unless you are a drug dealer and need those things on your very own person. So the Michigan cops booked him into the Wexford County Jail for several charges. But while they processed him in, they found even more drugs on him! Uh, not so smart. Only thing worse than that would be weapons. So when did the cops find out they arrested a totally different criminal than they thought?
Not until they ran his prints!
