Michael Jordan Not the Champion Selling Real Estate

BASKETBALL’S GOAT CHAMPION MICHAEL JORDAN HAS MAJOR REAL ESTATE PROBLEMS

So everybody knows who Michael Jordan is.  In the world, there was no more famous black athlete, except maybe Pele and Muhammed Ali.  Why?  Because they were consummate champions.  Dominant.  Everybody knew, because it was obvious.  But they can’t be champions at everything.  Good, maybe really good.  Jordan is really good at golf.  But not good enough to make money betting against PGA pros, no sirree.  But when it comes to real estate, Jordan just might be a loser.  And it’s a little weird, considering where the property in question is.  Chicago!  That’s right, Michael Jordan can’t sell his damn house.  For 9 years!

BOUGHT IN MICHAEL JORDAN’S FIRST CHAMPIONSHIP YEAR IN 1991, ESTATE NOW SITS IDLE

Michael Jordan is now 58 years old, and bought the Highland Park estate with his then wife, Juanita Vanoy, back in 1991.  And yes, that is the year the Jordan Rules Bulls first won an NBA championship.  Back then, the soon to be champion bought it for an astounding $2 million.  But today, that’s pocketchange for the rich buying a house.  The house, home, whatever you want to call it, is really a mansion.  A mansion with Jordanesque bells, whistles and accoutrement.  The estate has 9 bedrooms, 16 bathrooms and sits on 7-acres.  But Michael Jordan can’t sell the damn place, since he put it on the market in 2012 for $29 million.

MICHAEL JORDAN CAN’T EVEN GET OFFERS ON HOUSE, EVEN AFTER CUTTING PRICE IN HALF

Yes, that is a bit of a markup from 27 mill less.  But it’s not just that he can’t sell the estate.  He hasn’t gotten any offers, either!  There’s such a dearth of buyers, he’s dropped the asking price to just under $15.  As you might recall, we all just watched the Jordan Rules on Netflix, or wherever.  But with Michael Jordan on our minds, STILL no offers on the property!  It’s enough for a man to cry foul.  I mean, who doesn’t want to live in 56,000 square feet of luxury on 3 floors?  Well, I do.  So long as I don’t have to ever, ever clean house
