Long Description

Chemistry and physics

There are also close connections between physics and chemistry – do my homework for me . The natural science of physics examines fundamental phenomena and laws both in inanimate and in animate nature. In one sub-area, optics, she also researches light.

There are substances in a certain layer on photo film that remain unchanged when the film is stored in the dark. If light falls on these substances, they are transformed. How do these changes come about? Which substances are created by the incidence of light?

A car battery contains lead plates and dilute sulfuric acid. The battery supplies electrical power. Which chemical processes take place in the battery when it supplies electricity, which are they when charging? How is the electric current created in the battery? Which substances are formed in the process? What will happen to the lead and the sulfuric acid? Why can the battery be charged over and over again?

What happens on a photographic film and what takes place in a car battery cannot be fathomed with knowledge of physics alone – college assignment help ; chemical knowledge is also required. If the chemist wants to answer such questions, he deals with physical chemistry.

In physical chemistry, chemistry deals, among other things, with the conversion of energy in chemical reactions. She uses physical knowledge and laws to describe and explain the processes.

Energy is released in exothermic reactions. This can be thermal energy, for example when burning coal, light energy, for example when burning candle wax, or mechanical energy, for example for oxyhydrogen reactions.  In endothermic reactions, energy is added, e.g. in the formation of nitrogen oxides from atmospheric nitrogen and oxygen during thunderstorms.

The general theoretical chemistry – chemistry problem solver – explains the structure of the substances. All substances consist of the smallest particles. These particles are atoms, ions or molecules. An atom has an atomic nucleus and an atomic shell. Atomic and nuclear physics explain the structure of atoms, the formation of radioactive radiation or the generation of nuclear energy. The knowledge of physics is used in general chemistry, e.g. to explain the transformation of substances.

Chemistry is also intertwined with geography. Material cycles, e.g. the cycle of water, can be viewed from the chemical side as well as from the geographical (geological) and even from the physical side.

Rocks and minerals consist of inorganic substances. During weathering, not only physical processes, but also chemical reactions take place.
