SCHOOLS ARE NOT FOR MAKING FAKE GUNS
Contraband in school consists of the same material offenders are not allowed to possess in jail. Such as lighters, matches, booze, cigarettes and you know…shivs and shanks. Basically, a fake weapon. If a student has a water pistol, for example, it will be confiscated. In this day and age, with the violence that surrounds us, there is no messing around. If a student or in this case, seventh graders, uses a make-shift gun in order to intimidate for any reason, the cops are gonna get you. Because, schools and th grade book are for learning and not shank making.
SEVENTH GRADERS ARE TOTAL A%SHO&@ES
Seventh grade is a rough time. It’s almost as rough as eighth grade, but not quite as hormonal. The deal is, it gets better and it’s important to plow through the muck of those shitty years. Seventh graders can be a%SHO&ES. Seventh graders can also be unbelievable idiots. But these are also boys so it’s even more idiotic.

MOTIVE TO STEAL GRADE BOOK? HIS GRADES SUCKED
Two of these kids were apprehended in Serbia not too long ago. Police said in a statement that they confiscated a replica handgun, a knife, a balaclava cap and a pair of sunglasses after an incident during school hours. The two boys armed themselves with these weapons and dressed in masks, stormed in a classroom and stole the teacher’s grade book.
BAD GRADES LEAD TO STUPID, DESPERATE ACTIONS
One of the boy’s grades were so lousy, he wanted the grade book just so he could destroy it. He didn’t really think through the aftermath of his and his friend’s violent behavior and how it likely would further jeopardize their educational future.
TEACHERS ALWAYS KEEP COPIES OF THEIR GRADE BOOKS, JUST BECAUSE
Serbian officials have since installed video surveillance in the school. The boys have been charged with violent behavior, jeopardizing public safety and destruction and damaging property (cough, cough, the grade book!). Most teachers need to keep a hard copy according to their teachers’ unions, but also keep an electronic version. For redundancy for the unforeseen, such as masked students storming in, armed, and stealing the grade book.

SCHOOL CRIME VERY HIGH IN SERBIA SINCE FALL OF SOCIALISM
Hopefully, this incident doesn’t fuel any other violent grade book thefts. And luckily this time no one got hurt. School crime and violence have soared in Serbia since the 1990’s. This came after societies across old socialist Yugoslavia unraveled under the heaviness of gangsterism, immorality and nationalism. But you can count on seventh graders still being total ruffians regardless.
