MARK ZUCKERBERG IS BUILDING A MASSIVE, DOOMSDAY BUNKER IN HAWAII, SHOULD WE BE SCARED?
You’ve probably heard of Mark Zuckerberg. And if the name doesn’t ring a negative, disappointed bell, if you say Facebook right after you know who I’m talking about. But now, of course, Zuckerberg is the CEO of Meta Platforms Inc, which is the corporate parent of FB and so much else. In other words, Mark is still one crazy wealthy, disappointing person. But I have to assume that he has access to a LOT more information on any given day than you or I. SO I have to wonder, uh oh, is there something I need to be worried about when I hear that he’s building a doomsday bunker?

PART OF A $270 MILLION COMPOUND, DOOMSDAY BUNKER REPORTEDLY 5,000 LUXURIOUS SQUARE FEET
Sure, when you have disposable income, you may be reflexively tempted to explore things in terms of purchases that most people wouldn’t consider. And when you have as much disposable income as Mark Zuckerberg, you can pretty much explore anything you can think of. Like, anywhere in the solar system. But it might be some cause for concern if someone like him is building a self-sustaining doomsday bunker in Kauai, Hawaii. And by self-sustaining, I mean a (otherwise) secret $270 million compound. You know, 5,00 square feet of pure, post-apocalyptic luxurious security?

So, uh oh? Mark probably figures he’ll be alive at least 3, 4, even 5 more decades. So what prompted him to spend quite the chunk of his own, personal disposable income? Because even when you’re worth billions, $270 million is no small investment. The property all-together includes over a dozen structures, with 2 mansions including roughly 57,000 square feet. And, of course, an underground tunnel leading to the afore-mentioned 5,000 square foot, self-sustaining doomsday bunker.
But it’s not just Mark. It seems building a doomsday bunker is all rage for billionaires all over the world. Uh oh?
