MAGA FOLKS HAVE LOST THEIR DAMN MINDS, THINK THE NFL AND SUPER BOWL ARE RIGGED
I’ve pretty much missed all of the drama from this NFL season, though now that it’s almost over, I seem to finally be hearing the current cacophony. But if you love football, you already know that the Kansas City Chiefs won in dramatic style over the Detroit Lions. And by dramatic, I mean that the Lions suffered what can only be described as an epic collapse. And while oddsmakers in Vegas and Detroit fans may have lost their mind, they’re not alone. It seems the MAGA folks lost what little they have left, too. A bunch of them are crying fouls, saying the NFL and the Super Bowl are rigged for Taylor Swift and Joe Biden.

RIGGED HOW? FOR THE CHIEFS TO WIN IT ALL, AND THEN TAYLOR SWIFT WILL ENDORSE JOE BIDEN
No, really. This isn’t a prescient Onion piece or waaay overly creative mocking. The MAGA folks claims are all over the place, but there is a core pattern to their conspiracy thinking. For one, the NFL is rigged to boost rating, because Taylor Swift. That one almost makes sense to me as vaguely plausible (but not really), given the gravity well the woman makes in general but especially on social media. And she’s dating a member of the Chiefs, right? But then there’s also how the Chiefs will now definitely win the Super Bowl, and then Taylor Swift will appear mid-field, kissing her beau, and then will endorse Joe Biden for President.

Again, really. This tripe now metastasizing on X by a host of MAGA folks is happening, even snowballing. Remember how Global Warming was made up by the “Left” to steal elections? I do. Well now one of the most American sports there is faces partisan reality bias from MAGA folks. And reality bias means one side isn’t topically connected to reality anymore, not even remotely. But mostly, this is just because the team Taylor Swift is rooting for won a big game and is going to the Super Bowl. And for MAGA folks, that can only mean a Deep State conspiracy to help Joe Biden.
I wonder how tight security will be at the game this year, right? Lord, I never thought I’d write about Taylor Swift, never mind twice in the same damn week.
