LOCKDOWN MURDER LEAVES VICTIM’S FAMILY DEVASTATED, POLICE FIND HUSBAND DISMEMBERING HER BODY

So the lockdown isn’t stopping murder, no sirree.  In fact, domestic abuse problems are only worse, as you can imagine.  But pretty much everyone is getting cabin fever these days.  And cabin fever can make people do terrible things to themselves and especially others with them.  But this horror story just happened.  So whether the lockdown helped cause it is still a mystery.  A man from Buffalo murdered his wife.  That’s horrific enough.  But when police went to check on her status, they found her husband in the middle of dismembering her body!  So that qualifies as Lockdown murder horror.  Police see too much of that.

NY STATE TROOPERS MADE A WELLNESS CHECK, HUSBAND ADMITTED TO LOCKDOWN MURDER

So last Friday, NY State Troopers went to do a welfare check to make sure Amber Farren was OK.  Her family called in.  They were concerned, since they hadn’t had any contact with her for a while.  But when the troopers arrived, her husband Philip Farren told them Amber had “left the area.”  Hmmm.  Troopers seemed to know something was amiss, like Lockdown murder.  So they questioned him again.  The murdering husband “then made admissions,” which we assume means he confessed to murdering her.  The police investigation found that he shot and killed her sometime earlier in the week.  She’d been dead for days.

MURDER VICTIM HAD ALSO SUFFERED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE BEFORE HER DEATH, FAMILY SAYS

Authorities took her partially dismembered remains to the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office.  But they also arrested Farren on the charges of second-degree murder as well as first-degree manslaughter, aka Lockdown murder.  But because of the lockdown, authorities had to arraign him on Skype.  So far, the Lockdown murder suspect hasn’t entered any plea.  Police are holding him, without bail, at the Allegany County Jail.  There is no news if he has a lawyer, yet.  Amber’s family say they had seen signs of domestic violence before her murder horror.  Truly a sad story.
