The clear plastic footwear she’s been wearing of late to support her hubbie have some issues. Even if you don’t go in for wearing plastic pumps, now you really know they’re not for you. It turns out that these see-thru foot coffins are more than likely to give you foot fungus. That’s right, foot fungus. Nasty. Not sexy.

A podiatrist popular with celebrities piped up recently. But it was pretty much just good common sense. If you put your feet into stilettos made of plastic that don’t breathe at all, you’re gonna get some foot nastiness. And fast. According to Dr. Suzanne Levine, “Without aeration, the most environment can exacerbate pre-existing fungal conditions or bacterial infections, in addition to increasing your risk for blisters.”

So if you thought before that Athlete’s Foot was sexy, you were wrong. But we may see a real life fashion trend that’s not intentional. Just think how many sexy ladies will buy these shoes. Then think about what their toes will look like covered in fungus. And the smell? NOT sexy at all. But the Doc also said that wearing these shoes will make instant sweaty feet. That sweat will stink in just a heartbeat, if that. So Kim has had feet that smell like backwoods garbage every time she’s worn them. But also think about the sludge of wet, dead skin cells jammed into these shoes.
