LAST MINUTE SECURITY UPGRADES COULD MEAN KAMALA HARRIS AT THE OSCARS!
Well, the show must go on (and on, and on). I saw something about Harrison Ford of a sudden dropping out as a presenter for the 2025 Oscars ceremony. I know that Conan O’Brian is hosting for the very first time. But I don’t know if there will be any “take my wife’s name out of your mouth” drama. Yet I do know that there will be drama, red carpet interviews (and snubs and silliness), far too much haute couture fashion discussion, and all the usual Oscars production excitement. But I didn’t know that Kamala Harris was, also of a sudden, going to be attending, too!

THE OSCARS HAS SECURITY, BUT THE SECRET SERVICE WILL MAKE A MUCH TIGHTER SAFETY NET
So far, we only know that she’s “probably” attending but with some pretty good reasoning. Apparently, when former heads of state (or in this case former vice heads of state) , as go and do anything it involves a ton of security. And that means the Secret Service, of course. And it seems that this 11th hour Kamala Harris addition has created just a little bit of turmoil with even more last minute security preparations. But to be fair, while the Oscars does, of course, have pretty tight security, it doesn’t pass muster for the presence and safety of former Vice President Kamala Harris.

After all, years ago an armed robber literally ran into the Oscars in L.A. trying to get away from police. That kind of random incident just can’t happen again. Harris, you might remember, was a senator in California before she served in the White House with Joe Biden. And this year’s Oscars will make a point of honoring all the workers and firefighters who did all they could do in battling the wildfires that tore through Los Angeles all too recently. Whether or not Harris replaces Harrison Ford as a presenter remains to be seen. But it’s clear that if she’s there, she’ll have something to do with honoring those wildfire heroes.
Dare we wonder what she will wear? Because it will be a convo!
