iPhone Has Competition from Pablo Escobar’s Brother?THE BROTHER OF THE LATE COLUMBIAN DRUG LORD, PABLO ESCOBAR, IS SELLING AN AMAZING NEW CELL PHONE

So the world is a strange and mysterious place.  Sure, I knew that already.  But not there’s news that the iPhone may have competition on the close horizon, thanks to the late Pablo Escobar’s brother, Roberto.  No, this is for real!  Roberto Escobar is the force behind a new foldable cell phone, the Pablo Escobar Fold 1.  But if you’re under the age of 30 you may not know why this is a big, strange deal.  Pablo Escobar was the infamous Columbian drug cartel lord.  Now, he is survived by a brother who is looking to have an impact on the worldwide cellular market.

THE PABLO ESCOBAR FOLD 1 IS A DEVICE SET UP TO COMPETE DIRECTLY WITH APPLE’S IPHONE

See?  I told you the world is a strange and mysterious place.  The Pablo Escobar Fold 1 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Series CPU.  It will, of course, be an Android 9 device.  It also includes two 16MP as well as one 20MP cameras.  But it’s a foldable phone!  So it also has two 7.8 inch AMOLED screens.  And it’s totally contemporary as well, with a fingerprint sensor.  The phones are available unlocked and will be able to work on ANY network in the United States.

PABLO ESCOBAR FOLD 1 IS PRICED TO BE AFFORDABLE TO ANYONE, ANYWHERE, WITH SECURITY IN MIND

So what could be better?  Well, there is more.  The 128GB Fold 1 costs $350; the 512GB will sell for $500.  So to compare, that’s a hell of a lot cheaper than the new Razr phone, the Huawei Mate X and the Samsung Galaxy Fold.  And for some reason, Escobar is totally security conscious.  These phones will be hard for anyone to scan using Bluetooth and will be a challenge for governments to access.  But the cover of the phone will also include a layer of metal to prevent any RFID access or “other communications.”

So look out Apple and iPhone, there’s a new (affordable) kid on the block.
