MAN’S IPHONE MIRACULOUSLY SAVES HIS LIFE FROM BOW & ARROW SHOT AT HIM
So this is something totally different. But this news out of Nimbin in New South Wales, Australia, is off the hook. A man there had pulled into his driveway on March 13th, in the morning. But when he got out of his car, he noticed a strange man on the edge of his property standing there holding a bow and arrow. So that’s pretty random, right? Even in Australia, that’s not normal. So the homeowner pulled out his cell phone to snap a pic of the weirdness and the malevolent archer then pulled the bow and shot an arrow at him! But against most possible odds, the arrow pierced his iPhone and saved his life.
ARROW LITERALLY PIERCED THE IPHONE, SLAMMED THE VICTIM IN THE FACE
So yeah, this is something totally different. The arrow struck the back of the upraised cellphone and went all the way through it. The razor arrow tip was sticking out a few inches through the other side. It even popped off the screen protector on the iPhone. The victim’s only injury was a cut on his chin from the phone flying into his face. The powerful impact from the arrow knocked it out of his hand. But that’s so much better than getting pierced by an arrow. Shoot, the arrowhead could also have hit the victim. But somehow, it didn’t. So far, all we know is that the attacking archer is a 39-yer-old man.
WHY THE HELL WOULD A STRANGER SHOOT AN ARROW AT YOU!?
But we don’t have any idea why he attacked the homeowner or what his motive could have been. Why was he even standing there with a bow and arrow in the first place? It’s just totally hinky and makes no sense whatsoever. But police arrested the archer at the scene. They’re charging him with “armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and malicious damage.” A judge granted him conditional bail. Maybe like, you can’t watch anymore Green Arrow. Or Robin Hood.
