But World Cup qualifiers is another level of competition altogether. Sometimes, people do little things to gain a competitive advantage. For Venezuela, they claim hookers baited their soccer players before qualifier.

Dudamel believes that the working girls had been planted there. The hookers baited his soccer players the night before the qualifier! Dudamel said: “There were several female visits last night at the hotel. But soccer players have evolved. We are not surprised with these female visits and do not know who sent them. These are old tactics.” But if the goal was to get a rise out of Venezuela’s players to make them tired the next day, the cat never got out of the bag.
