Growing gray hair after hair is akin to someone’s ugly harvest. Generally, gray hair begins to appear in people’s 30s. But there are some women who started graying a lot in their 20s!  Associate Professor from NYU School of Medicine, Roshini Rajapaksa, wrote that gray hair is related to one’s ethnicity. SOMETIMES EARLY GRAY HAIR IS HEREDITARY

Family history can also be the reason why someone gets gray hair early. “You can ask parents, grandparents, when will their hair begin to look gray for the first time?” added Roshini.  But lifestyle and environmental factors can also be the cause of early gray hair.  Things like smoking, frequent exposure to ultraviolet light (sunshine or tanning salons!), and air pollution.  Early graying hair happens more frequently in the most polluted cities.  Or is that because the most polluted cities are also the most stressful to live in?  That’s really hard to separate.  But there is clearly some connection.  Right?
