GOP Rep. Goodman Caught in Sex Act with Good Man

SEX ACT, WHEN FAMILY VALUES MEANS I’M A CLOSETED GAY OFFICIAL

Yet another Republican lawmaker has resigned in disgrace, this time in the state of Ohio.  He was caught having some kind of sexual encounter with another man in his office.  So far, the sex act has remained unspecified and undetailed.  The lawmaker was family values a GOP rep. Wes Goodman who resigned shortly after he was presented with evidence of his sex act with another man.  We’ve seen this before in far too many instances of Republican hypocrisy. Two of the notables are the disgraced Larry Craig and Mark Foley.

GOP REP GOODMAN JUST ANOTHER IN A LONG LINE OF OUTED FAMILY VALUES HYPOCRITES

If you don’t remember those names it’s fine, except that they precede Wes Goodman’s hypocrisy in most ways.  There continue to be GOP members who cast stones across the aisle at homosexuals from a conservative Christian view. It’s hard to understand the emotional torture that must exist for people who want to outlaw their own, secret-identity.  Unfortunately, this particular brand of Republican hypocrisy just disappears along with the instantly radioactive members.  The replicated soundbites that follow keep ringing hollow.

“I was alerted to details yesterday afternoon regarding [Goodman’s] involvement in inappropriate behavior related to his state office. I met with him later in the day where he acknowledged and confirmed the allegations. It became clear that his resignation was the most appropriate course of action for him, his family, the constituents of the 87th House District and this institution,” said Republican House Speaker Cliff Rosenberger this past week.

To keep the pattern alive from previous gay life Republican scandals, Goodman also issued his own formulaic statement: “We all bring our own struggles and our own trials into public life. That has been true for me, and I sincerely regret that my actions and choices have kept me from serving my constituents and our state in a way that reflects the best ideals of public service. For those whom I have let down, I’m sorry. As I move onto the next chapter of my life, I sincerely ask for privacy for myself, my family, and my friends.”

YOU DON’T SEE BLACK PEOPLE JOINING THE KKK

GOP rep, Wes Goodman is has a wife and his currently unavailable Twitter account list him as “Christian. American. Conservative. Republican.”  He’s presents himself as a “family values” voter, especially when family values offer the opportunity to legislate against LGBT folk.  It’s striking how these “family values” representatives keep feeling the need to defend the so-called heterosexual values. Especially since they are allegedly under attack from themselves.  It’s especially notable irony that they keep outing themselves from their hidden, double lives.  For now, it’s ticktock, ticktock, till the next bigot outs themselves.
