As you may already know, the 72nd edition of Golden Globe Awards was held Sunday night to celebrate the best in the TV and movie industry. The event took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles and kicked off 2015’s awards-show season. The Golden Globes are not only an occasion for famous nominees to be awarded for their work from the prior year, but they also give celebrities an opportune moment to show off the glamorous outfits that high-end haute couture designers create for them to wear on the paparazzi-crowded red carpet.
The glorious event is very well-known as a wild party and the little sister of the Oscars, which is a more sober event. Kevin Spacey, Ruth Wilson, Michael Keaton, Julianne Moore, Amy Adams and Matt Bomer were a few of the talented winners from this year’s ceremony. It was a night of celebration, laughter, glamour, breathless speeches, funny moments but also sobriety, since on stage, many of the actors took time to refer to the sad events in Paris.
It’s Fancy Events couldn’t miss such a golden evening, so as usual, its founder and CEO Fancy Alexandersson attended some of the most important parties of the Globes, along with the heaviest names in the showbiz industry.
W Magazine threw the chicest Pre-Golden Globes party on Friday night. It was actually an art show called “Shooting Stars,” which featured the portraits of celebrities in W Magazine. Editor-in-Chief Stefano Tonchi, who curated the show, hosted the party with Miley Cyrus. From all the artistic pictures exposed at the party, my favorite was, of course, Kim Kardashian’s “It’s all about me, I mean you, I mean me.” The crowd at the event was very refreshing, artsy and fashionable. I was surrounded by some of the trendiest names of the moment, fashionistas, actors and musicians such as Miley, Hailee Steinfeld, Chiara Ferragni, Marina Abramovic, Rachel Zoe and many others.

The guests at the event were so chic and stylish; considering the popularity of the exhibit, I imagine it was also a competition for outfit creativity. I wore a beautiful white dress with a detailed gold chain accessory from one of the hip boutique stores on the popular street strip of Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood.
Golden Globe Awards Gala
I stepped on the red carpet right after Katie Holmes and before the amazing Helen Mirren. While Katie was leaving the photographers and crowd breathless with her charming smile, when I stepped onto the red carpet, the paparazzi started to shout after me to turn and show my front when I posed my shoulder side! They loved my dress (and the deep cleavage!). I then became the red carpet’s center of attention, which is an overwhelming feeling each time!
Deep cleavage has become one of my signature looks in the Hollywood events world, and the photographers just love it! Back in 2014, when I attended the same event, I wore a superb white dress (see below!) with a generous décolletage for the British designer brand AQ/AQ.
The Weinstein Company & Netflix Golden Globe After Party
This was, by far, the best Golden Globes party I attended in 2015. It was exquisite, chic, fun and glamorous! The party, hosted by The Weinstein Company and Netflix (sponsored by FIJI Water, Laura Mercier, Marie Claire and Lexus), is considered one of the best annual post-Golden Globes parties. It was attended by some of this year’s winners but also other celebrities like Keira Knightley, Jennifer Lopez, Ruth Wilson, Jennifer Aniston, Salma Hayek, Michael Keaton and Channing Tatum. The venue looked very exclusive and glossy, and the sponsors (Laura Mercier, Philip B, Lauren B) created amazing stations at the soiree for the guests to get their hair, makeup or nails touched up.
There was a fun photo booth that the guests could entertain themselves with, where I took a few pictures together with the luxury products I got as gift from Laura Mercier. My favorite of all the many giveaways is the Portofino Red lipstick from Laura Mercier, hair spray from Philip B, hand cream, nail and cuticle balm from Lauren B. Ohh, and the orange lipgloss from Mercier! I’m so excited to wear it with an original Californian tan.
I had so much fun at this party, and I was right on the dance floor when Channing Tatum showed the crowd his dance moves together with his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum. They both looked so gorgeous and passionate! Every couple should have this much fun!

It was an entertaining party with lots of celebrities having real fun, dancing all evening, making jokes or just mingling. And if you thought the stars were eating caviar, well, you’ll be surprised to see that the hosts served cheeseburgers and French fries at the event. You don’t believe me? Take a look.
