Stories like this seemingly come out of nowhere. But this one came out of Australia. It was when a woman there called in to a radio show hosted by Dr Karl Kruszelnicki. She reported, on air, that something strange and disturbing was happening to her. The anonymous lady said that sometimes when she gave her husband a blow job, she had temporary deafness. But that just sounds crazy, right? But not so fast. Well no, really, not so fast. It’s better that way. But anyway, when the doctor on the radio show thought it was worth looking into, he actually came up with an answer.

According to Dr. Karl, “”A lady rang in and said ‘how come whenever I’m having oral sex with my husband and his penis hits the back of my throat I go temporarily deaf? So I asked my girlfriends if they experienced it with their partners and it happened to them too.” Crazy, right? Several women confirmed that they had also experienced temporary deafness after going down on a man. But why is this happening? What could be the cause?
