TIMOTHY GINTER, OHIO STATE REP. IS A DAMNED LIAR ABOUT PROJECT BLITZ
Oops. So this is sort of embarrassing. His name is Timothy Ginter and he’s a State Representative for Ohio. He’s a liar. You may have heard of him as he’s a member of the GOP. That’s right, he’s a Republican. And no, there’s nothing wrong with being a Republican. Well, okay, maybe that’s arguable these days. But it’s quite another thing to be a Republican and lie a lot. Okay, maybe that’s not so unusual these days. But how about being a supposed Christian and lying a lot? Hmmm. There’s a pattern here. But lying about a socially conservative, rightwing bill? Really, Tim? You know absolutely nothing about that bill? It’s the one with the name Project Blitz. No? It came out of a rightwing Christian bill mill. It’s very, very similar to another bill with the name, Student Religious Liberties Act.

WHAT IS GINTER’S PROJECT BLITZ? IT GIVES STUDENTS RELIGIOUS EXEMPTION FROM, YOU KNOW, FACTS
So what do these bills do? Well, critics say they would give students a religious exemption to things. What kinds of things? Facts. You know, accepted normative reality. These are bills that would give ardently religious students exemptions to facts. If they don’t like a fact because it contradicts their beliefs, they would have an exemption. So that’s kind of a Pandora’s Box to open. Don’t like evolution? No problem, you can simply talk about Adam and Eve and get an A. That’s what we’re talking about here. That’s what Ginter wants to do, get rid of those pesky facts.
GINTER LIED, BUT HE’S THE COOL-CHAIR OF OHIO STATE RELIGIOUS GROUP!
So how does Rep. Tim Ginter play into this? Well, he told media he wasn’t working with the conservative Christian groups WallBuilders or the Congressional Prayer Caucus. He also claimed to have no knowledge of “Project Blitz” either. So how is he lying? Besides, a lot? Well, he’s the co-chair of the Ohio-Prayer Caucus. And, um, well, that’s the Ohio state chapter of, um, the Congressional Prayer Caucus. And they’re the ones behind Project Blitz. So Rep. Timothy Ginter, you’re a damn liar. And by Christian standards, that means you’re a damned liar. They’re not just rules. They’re Commandments. The devil is in the details, Tim.
