FATHER AND SON NEGLECT GEORGIA WOMAN, FOUND EATEN ALIVE BY MAGGOTS, COCKROACHES
This story is a literal horror. Police arrested 2 people this week after firefighters found a bedridden Georgia woman lying on the floor and neglected. Maggots and cockroaches were consuming her alive. I didn’t even know that was possible! A father and son from Sugar Hill, Georgia face charges of neglecting a disabled person. Officials dispatched fire department crews to the woman’s home. They found the poor woman unconscious in what they described as unhealthy and unsafe conditions. What kind of people are this father and son to do this? The short answer is, the poor woman’s husband and her son. The only description that seems to apply is despicable and shameful.
FIREFIGHTERS FOUND WOMAN UNCONSCIOUS, ROTTEN LEGS COVERED WITH FEASTING INSECTS
The firefighters reported that when they found her unconscious that her legs had become completely black and brown. They found her resting on a tarp. A tarp! It was at least a month old and was covered in feces. I’m not sure what corner of hell is reserved for the father and son, but I bet it’s a dark and spiteful one. But the crew that helped the Georgia woman return home after a hospital visit over a month ago reported it was the same tarp used when they last saw her. Can you believe this travesty?

The firefighters at the scene reported that her legs were showing signs of decomposition. Insects were all over her legs and were eating her flesh, while she was still alive. So far, there are no reports of her current condition or outlook. Local media reported that the Gwinnett County Fire Department had said that, “they did not believe she would live much longer and felt a moral obligation to report this.”
FATHER AND SON OUT OF WORK, NO EXCUSE FOR CRUEL HORROR
When police spoke to the father and son, they learned that the two were the Georgia woman’s sole caretakers. They are both out of work and said that their finances were tight. But that doesn’t explain the appalling and cruel neglect of the poor woman, their wife and mother. I’ve never heard anything like it before. I hope never to again.
