RACIST SUBSTITUTE TEACHER IN FLORIDA GETS 11-YEAR-OLD BLACK BLOY ARRESTED
So Florida wins another prize! But what happened now, you ask? Well, an 11-year-old boy refused to stand up for the Pledge of Allegiance. So how could this be a clusterfuck, you ask? Because several people, at least, screwed up big time. So sure, it was a substitute teacher. But so what? That kind of makes it worse. No, it definitely makes it worse. The 11-year-old refused to stand and the teacher, Ana Alvarez, got him arrested because she “did not want to continue dealing with him.” This happened at the Lawton Chiles Middle Academy in Lakeland, Florida.
RACIST TEACHER TELLS BLACK BOY TO GO LIVE IN ANOTHER COUNTRY
I know. This makes no sense, right? She didn’t have to deal with him. She had to leave him alone. But Alvarez certainly didn’t do that. He told her he wouldn’t stand because the Pledge is racist. She replied, “Why if it was so bad here he did not go to another place to live?” He responded, “They brought me here.” So Alvarez dug her hole into a professional grave, saying, “Well you can always go back, because I came here from Cuba and the day I feel I’m not welcome here anymore I would find another place to live.” She later related, “Then I had to call the office because I did not want to continue dealing with him.”
TEACHER, SCHOOL ADMIN AND POLICE TO BLAME AS CHILD ARRESTED, CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATED
Say what? Leave the child alone. #1, he’s a child. #2, the 1943 Supreme Court decision in West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette protects students from BEING FORCED TO SALUTE THE FLAG OR RECITE THE PLEDGE. That’s been the law of the land for 76 fucking years. Oh, and by the way, the 11-year-old child is, of course, black. So Alvarez called administrators, who then fucked up even more because they called the police. And then the police came and fucked up even more. They took him to a juvenile detention center and charged him with “disruption of a school facility and resisting an officer without violence.”
The school district has banned Alvarez as a teacher in their schools. But so far, the crickets are singing about the Administrator’s poor judgement. The police, as well. So expect to hear more about how all the adults violated this American child’s basic civil rights.
