Trump has been a dominant force in the news since about February, 2016. But that’s not new news! He’s even more dominant today, if not always in the way that he would prefer. But Donald’s media coverage explosions every day have had an interesting impact on someone we would never think to know. Her name is Dolores Leis Antelo. She has lived with her husband for the last 40 years in what can only be described as rural Spain. Their farm is in Cabana de Bergantiños. But Dolores became a media sensation after the journalist Paula Vázquez took her picture. And by media sensation, we do mean Dolores pic went viral in a big way. She looks astonishingly like the President of the United States, Donald Trump. She’s his Doppelgänger! Except, she looks fierce. That’s because this woman farmer is fierce.

The whole situation has been an education for Dolores. She doesn’t own either a computer or a phone. So her sensationalism has been quite the personal introduction to the modern, virtual world. All Dolores did was pose for a picture for an article that explored how farmers were coping with recent, powerful storms. In the picture, Dolores stands strong, holding a hoe. According to the journalist Paula Vázquez, “Dolores was going to her farm to pick some cabbages. So I talked with her for a while, while a girlfriend was taking pictures of her, and I took the opportunity to take another photo with my cellphone.” But her cell phone pic became a sensation online.

Vasquez thought the picture looked great so she posted it on Instagram. Somehow, she never seemed to notice how much the woman farmer looked like Trump. But the virtual world did notice and the photo quickly went viral. But Dolores has amazingly been cool with her virtual notoriety. She told media later, “My photo seems to have traveled far. I say it is because of the color of my hair.” But her daughter Ana is just a bit more excited. But Ana is no stranger to the virtual world. So far, Trump has not tweeted a peep about his female farmer doppelgänger. But Dolores, for her part, is just charmed to learn she looks like the American President. All her neighbors now call her. “Donald Trumps cousin.”
But perhaps the mighty Don should stay quiet and not accidently annoy the fierce Dolores. She looks like she could kick some serious ass.
