FANCY FEAST NOW HAS A POP-UP RESTAURANT TO HOST HUMAN TASTINGS OF CAT FOOD?
But all kitting aside, this really happened. The cat food brand made their cat food tasting available at their trattoria, “Gatto Bianco.” And yes, Gatto Bianco was a pop-up restaurant. The two-day event even included a meet-and-greet with the fancy ad campaign kitty. Anyone interested in attending were given a complimentary tasting menu that offered “to mirror the sensory experience of cats at mealtime.” So if you felt any shame at the temptation of eating Fancy Feast cat food standing in your kitchen, this could have been the event for you!

NOT SURE HOW ANY WET CAT FOOD, EVEN FANCY FEAST, DOESN’T SMELL LIKE VOMIT
So I must admit that I grew up with cats as pets for many years. But when I had to feed them when I was a kid, it was a sensory overload just opening the cans of wet food. If I recall correctly, and I do recall correctly, our cats went nuts as soon as they smelled their favorite, Tender Vittles. And no, that was not a fancy feast offering. But really, the smell always made me want to barf. Overwhelmingly. I hated feeding the cats! I never wanted to know what it tasted like. But yes, I did at some point smell Fancy Feast cat food. And to be fair, it smelled nominally better!
So if you want to try this, I’m guessing it will happen again. Bookmark their reservations page for the next installment! FancyFeast.com/Reservations.
