Exciting Taiwan Boob Flasher Changes Google Maps Rules

BOOB FLASHER VISITING TAIWAN FORCES GOOGLE MAPS TO CHANGE RULES

So there’s this place on a remote road in Pingtung County in Taiwan.  While it was before, it’s really on the map now.  Google Map and every other.  The spot suddenly became a top-rated attraction on Google Maps.  How did this happen?  A tourist uploaded a video, exposing her bare breast.  The 18-second video was exciting or even, shall we say, titillating.  A nip slip this was not.  But the peek at the top of the mountain (aka Boob Flash) is forcing Google to change their rules.  This boob flasher got a lot of attention.

GOOGLE REMOVED BOOB FLASHER VIDEO, BUT THE SNEAK PEAK GOT NOTICED

Google has already removed the video from its platform.  But the video does show the woman carefully looking over her shoulder to make sure no one sees what she was about to do.  Doesn’t that seem odd?  Anyway, the unknown woman posted her booby flash to a service that has roughly 2 billion active viewers month to month.  So people saw it, just not anyone at the boob flash location!  But why did this happen?  Well, last year Google started encouraging users to share videos and images on its “Local Guides” feature.  It allows users on the platform to earn points in return from sharing to Google Maps. Google does prohibit “content that contains sexually explicit material.”  I suppose a boob flash is explicit.

LOCAL FARMERS LOVED THE BOOB FLASHER, THINK THEY’LL VISIT RURAL AREA

But the boob flash was definitely popular with locals from the area.  The agricultural community posted comments like how they’d visit the old country route “straight away,” and there was one review that said, “I’ve never thought about going there but now I want to. It definitely seems like a lively area.”  Oddly, Google has no idea how the video got posted.  All shared user content is supposed to be linked to their “About Me” page, but this video is anonymous.  Google says it is looking into how to prevent this in the future.

They’re also  “strengthening the system’s automatic detection mechanism.”  That means it’s someone’s job to teach their image recognition software how to recognize a boob.  That is the very definition of a boob job.  But we may never see this again.  Well, at least not on Google Maps.
