Every Dog Has Its Day at the Celeb-Studded World Dog Awards

The World Dog Awards took place in Santa Monica, Calif., on Saturday, Jan. 10 at the, get this, Barker Hangar. The show airs on The CW Network Thursday, Jan. 15 with host George Lopez. The celebrity-filled event is also hosted by The Pedigree Foundation, which is dedicated to helping dogs find furever homes.

Celebs taking part include Ian Somerhalder, Nikki Reed, Newlyweds Lance Bass and Michael Turchin, Mark Feuerstein (“Royal Pains”), Lisa Vanderpump (“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”) and Jenna Ushkowitz (“Glee”). Paris Hilton walked the green carpet with two of her eight pooches — the $25,000 pair of teacup Pomeranians, Princess Paris Jr. and Prince Hilton. Vanderpump proudly toted her Pom Giggy, who wore Fifi & Romeo fashions. Kat Graham (“The Vampire Diaries”) looked stunning in white by Black Halo and happy with her furry sidekicks Izzy and Issa.

Also in attendance were the Milwaukee Brewers unofficial mascot, Hank, sporting a tuxedo, and Duke, the dog mayor of Cormorant, Minn.
