DYSON VACUUM INVENTOR DESIGNS CORONAVIRUS VENTILATOR IN 10 DAYS, WILL MAKE 15,000

So have you heard of James Dyson?  He’s now a billionaire.  But he wasn’t always one.  He founded the Dyson company and has invented a number of amazing products.  But most people know about the seriously powerful and pretty pricey Dyson vacuums.  They totally suck, but they’re supposed to.  But James Dyson is a self-made success story like no other today.  He created his own superior product and got it to market.  All while the big boys tried to buy him out, block him and break him.  But today, he’s a remarkable success.  And now, with the Coronavirus pandemic, he’s making 15,000 ventilators to save lives.  And yes, he designed it.  In 10 days!

BORIS JOHNSON CALLED DYSON FOR HELP, AND DYSON RESPONDS IN HUGE FASHION

Now that seriously doesn’t suck, but it will certainly breathe for thousands of patients in danger of dying from Coronavirus.  Dyson explained the obvious, saying, “A ventilator supports a patient who is no longer able to maintain their own airways, but sadly there is currently a significant shortage, both in the UK and other countries around the world.”  Absolutely, there will be a shortage.  But the new Dyson ventilator, or the Co Vent, will be ready for use in the next week.  Seriously.  Now that’s an entrepreneur.  Well, a responsive one, at any rate.  The English leader Boris Johnson called him about the expected shortage and James Dyson has responded.  I just wish we had him here in the United States!

But Dyson is also a humanitarian.  10,000 ventilators will be used in England.  But another 5,000 will go out to the world where they are most needed.  For now, we still don’t really know what that will mean.  But we are sure to find out.  In the US, for now, we have Ford working with 3M and GE Healthcare to make needed items like ventilators and PPE.  We also have word that General Motors and Tesla also plan on making ventilators.  Let’s just hope we don’t get them too late.
