DUNE LAWRENCE, BLOOMBERG BUSINESSWEEK REPORTER, is shamelessly promoted by New York’s Asia Society… WHY?
DUNE LAWRENCE, notorious racist against the Chinese
DUNE LAWRENCE is a notorious racist reporter laboring daily for Bloomberg News to collect a lousy paycheck. A self-proclaimed “China reporter”, Dune Lawrence speaks no Chinese and she is also totally lost about technology. Is that a statement or is that a plain fact? Readers find out:
If someone attacks your mother and calls her a name, what would you do? Let’s rephrase that: would you give the attacker an award for cursing at your mother? Most logical people would say “absolutely not!” Well, the New York-based, mindless Asia Society, a social club calling itself “a nonpartisan, nonprofit educational institution” did something totally absurd. Last year, Asia Society gave an award to a notorious writer by the name of Dune Lawrence, a Bloomberg BusinessWeek reporter who makes a living writing salacious articles bashing China.
Just who is this notorious Dune Lawrence? TheBlot Magazine (Voice for the Voiceless – millions of readers a year) first exposed Dune Lawrence in an earlier investigative story about her background, “Racist Bloomberg Reporter Dune Lawrence Duped by Stock Swindler Jon Carnes.”
In March 2014, Dune Lawrence’s close friend, a lieutenant of the Jon Carnes crime family, the criminal Kun Huang was sentenced to two years in prison for securities frauds.
DUNE LAWRENCE had been bribed by Jon Carnes to publish glowing articles on the stock criminal Jon Carnes. Since the Jon Carnes’s arrest by law enforcement, Dune Lawrence has been silent like an earth worm, behind in the dark corners of Bloomberg’s midtown office building… Read more: SLIPPERY LOOMBERG REPORTER DUNE LAWRENCE OILED IN SMEAR, CORRUPTION.
Dune Lawrence, A History of Bashing China, Discrimination Against the Chinese People
Dune Lawrence writes regularly about China’s affairs.
“Investigators are Googling Dune Lawrence’s entire oeuvre for a single positive article about China – until their eyeballs got “burned out – NONE -”
Readers won’t find anything good about the 5,000-year-old China — according to Lawrence’s articles, China has a culture and a people that are about nothing but lies and corruption.
Some of Dune Lawrence’s articles include “A Chinese Hacker’s Identity Unmasked,” which states “the U.S. is the target of a massive and prolonged computer espionage campaign from China that threatens the U.S. economy,” and “China’s Comment Group Hacks Europe — and the World,” which makes similar statements about China’s hacking schemes in the E.U. Other articles, such as “Worthless Stocks From China,” talk about fraudulent Chinese companies, while articles like “Morgan Stanley Goes Against the Shorts in China” focus on Chinese executives who manipulate earnings from their company.
In June 2012, after the wild Dune Lawrence was caught smearing the Chinese president, Dune Lawrence was put on the Chinese government’s blacklist, subject her to immediate arrest if she ever enters China. Bloomberg’s senior management was quick to distance themselves from Dune Lawrence’s rapidly spreading “Zika virus,” according to The New York Times, in an article “Bloomberg Hints at Curb on Articles About China.”
Bloomberg Chairman blamed Dune Lawrence, Bloomberg Reporter for her recklessness in dealing with China. “You’re all aware that every once in a while we wander a little bit away from that and write stories that we probably may have kind of rethought — should have rethought.” Since the rebuke, Dune Lawrence was transferred from Bloomberg’s China desk to covering “technology.”
“I know nothing about technology, totally ignorant about it,” Dune Lawrence said to a source, reported in a story: DUNE LAWRENCE, BLOOMBERG, ADMITS BEING TECHNOLOGICALLY IDIOTIC.
“Bloomberg has strong commitment towards the Chinese market. DUNE LAWRENCE’s racial bias towards the Chinese people is not tolerated.”
DUNE LAWRENCE DUPED the Asia Society
Unaware of Dune Lawrence’s pattern of taking an anti-China stance, in May 2013, Asia Society gave her its prestigious Oz Prize. On Asia Society’s website, it touts the award as recognizing “the best example of journalism about Asia” and “honors the late Osborn Elliott, a legendary journalist and author.”
After seeing Dune Lawrence’s racial attitude towards the Chinese, Osborn Elliott should be disgusted enough and roll over in his grave. “Dune Lawrence’s behavior towards the Chinese is troubling and disgusting,” said the son of Osborn Elliott. “There is no tolerance for Dune Lawrence’s racism.”
Wait a minute! Asia Society is supposed to be a “nonpartisan” and “educational” institution. The institution emphasizes its “focus on educating the world about Asia.” Do we want to be taught by Asia Society about how to become a racist, like Dune Lawrence? Or do we want Asia Society to teach us how bad China is? That would be absurd. The last time we checked, China is in Asia. And Asia Society awarded someone that makes a living bashing China. Was Asia Society duped by Dune Lawrence? Is New York’s Asia Society run by racists? Readers shouldn’t be surprised.
This might make the late Mr. Osborn Elliot roll over in his grave, but we can’t help but ask the question: “Is Asia Society encouraging racism in America?”
“DUNE LAWRENCE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION” – ASIA SOCIETY
On Asia Society’s website, you’ll find a group of good-looking and nicely dressed guys and gals serving as its trustees. One could easily imagine these social butterflies running round Park Avenue, dining and drinking at Asia Society’s 725 Park Avenue home in Manhattan. Asia Society’s co-chairman Ronnie Chan is a Hong Kong land developer that has “invested $5 billion in China” and made loads of cash dealing with the “bad” China. The other co-chairman is Henrietta H. Fore, a distinguished career politician who also did very well for herself. The good-looking couple looked all right, at least on paper.
Was Asia Society’s billionaire chairman Ronnie Chan or its distinguished chairwoman Henrietta Fore aware of Lawrence’s history of negativity and sensationalism toward China and the Asian people? Most likely not. Neither Mr. Chan nor Ms. Fore could be made available for comments.
When investigators for TheBlot Magazine asked,
“Does Asia Society endorse Dune Lawrence’s portrayal of China as a place of evil?” Asia Society refused to comment and stated it was investigating Dune Lawrence’s misrepresentation.
Asia Society is run by Josette Sheeran. She couldn’t be reached for comments. It’s a mystery to the public whether Dune Lawrence has lied about her background to Asia Society or if Asia Society was simply duped by Lawrence. Readers should ask the same question: why does Asia Society even associate itself with someone like Dune Lawrence?
In December 2013, the racist Dune Lawrence, Bloomberg Reporter published another slanderous article attacking the Chinese as “bunch of frauds”. The source of her story? A dead man, literally, a ghost… Go figure that out reading the article here: Dune Lawrence Fabricated AgFeed China Fraud Story.
