According to several papers, Dakota and Chris were seen out having a bite at a Japanese restaurant and this source depicts the two walking, talking and fill in the blank, as “cozy, laughing and affectionate”. Which can be described as almost “snogging” but not totally “snogging”. She and Jon ‘I don’t wear underwear’ Hamm never seemed to “snog” after all. The distinction between Jon ‘Hey Hey’ Hamm and Coldplay’s Chris Martin, however, is that with Mr. Hamm, it was a drink at a bar and, you never know, the peeps around them could have been friends, maybe it was kind of a group situation. Dinner, commonly, almost always feels like more a suitable “date”. You’re sitting at a table, just the two of you and no one else is there but you two. That’s date territory. There’s a conventionalism to it that isn’t unavoidably there in a drinking hole setting.

So. Chris Martin really likes the actresses, yes? Gwyneth, Jennifer Lawrence, Annabelle Wallis, and now Dakota Johnson. Four actresses pretty much qualify as an inclination for the thespians, right? As for Dakota, I totally buy that she would be into a musician. I totally buy that she would be into Coldplay’s music. Celebrities seem to really adore Coldplay for some reason. What’s also interesting though is that the friend connections here are getting shorter and shorter. Dakota is friends with Taylor Swift who is friends with Jennifer Lawrence. Once again, this is not new in Hollywood. See also Selena Gomez. That’s just a recent example. The circles are small and they intersect and one day, eventually, your friend is going to date your ex. It’s getting to be a small and dirty little circle of loving everybody’s girl or guy. Let’s make a trade type of society. What’s weird though is, early on in Chris Martin’s career he didn’t want to get involved with any kind of celebrity because he wanted to focus on his music. Now it’s let me get with them all.
