TIK-TOKK USERS REMIND US ALL ABOUT 1983 CIA ASTRAL PROJECTION PROJECT
So here we have an intersection of old, weird history and new, social media making that a viral thing of the present. The social media is Tik-Tok, which I’m not too familiar with, as I’m over the age of 35, or 25, or whatever. And the weird, old historic thing? Well, weird. But real history. We’re talking about the CIA Astral Projection Project, from 1983. And no, I’m not kidding. The CIA actually had a project looking into astral projection when Ronald Reagan was president. See? CIA DECLASSIFIED ASTRAL PROJECTION PROJECT IN 2003, BUT STILL NO WORD IF IT WORKED
So we first really heard about this 18 years ago, in 2003. That was when the CIA took the classified out of the documentation about its astral projection project. Well, that isn’t what they called it, of course. Another name for it was the Gateway Experience. So anyways, what the hell are we talking about, here? It’s a technique, the Gateway Process, which in theory allows a human brain to meditate its way into a left-right brain wave synchronicity giving the meditator access the pure energy wave of the universe. You know, reality itself?

ASTRAL PROJECTION PROJECT WOULD GIVE THE MEDITATOR POWER OVER REALITY, TIME
So why would the CIA investigate this practice on its own? Well, the theory is that this form of Astral Projection would give a person the ability to alter reality itself. Well, and time, let’s not forget that. So, think of Keanu Reeve’s Neo in the Matrix and what he learned he could do in the Matrix as “the One.” Except with the ability to transcend time, too. I guess the CIA thought there was something there. Who know? Maybe it actually works! And now, because of Tik-Tok users today, we’re talking about it again!
