MORE CHARACTERS THAT SHOULD BE IN THE MACY’S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE
The annual parade has added Goku. It shouldn’t stop there. There are always two traditions to do on Thanksgiving: eat a turkey with some version of your family, and to ignore the Macy’s Parade while someone else insists to themselves that they aren’t making a mistake by watching it. The parade is just like student loans. It’s a festering piece of capitalism that seems nice when you’re young that we can’t get rid of. It’s always a gigantic national commercial for the clothing store. The parade has cute floats and also charges massive amounts of money to other corporations. Why? They that want their own intellectual properties turned into giant balloons. But these floating characters are loads of fun. So we should have more!

MORE GREAT SURPRISE CHARACTERS NEEDED
The most recent and surprising addition to the event is that of Goku, the primary protagonist of the Dragon Ball franchise. Dragon Ball has become something of an open secret, a series that many consider for children, but also has much nostalgia as many current adults have now seen the show. With such an addition, the sky is the limit for more characters.
Related:
- Vegeta: This character is a no-brainer, now that Goku has arrived. The balloon, of course, would need to repeatedly try pushing the Goku balloon to the side. But only to fail while the Goku balloon doesn’t notice.
- A Titan: Adding the titular character from the hit series Attack on Titan would be recognizable. But also fun due to how the character’s grotesque appearance would confuse older generations.
- One Punch Man: While we’re on an anime tear, we need to include the character of one of the biggest successes in multi-demographic cross-streaming. Of course, the balloon would be continually trying to leave the parade while it remains unable to.
- A tentacle monster: We live in a weird world. Let’s accept how strange it is.
