So Many Celebrities Eerie, Funny Final Words

CELEBRITIES EERIE FINAL WORDS TELL A STORY

Last words before passing have an impact on the living.  Final words of celebrities are eerie to say the least.  Sometimes they are random and sometimes they encapsulate a whole life.  What will your last words be?  Similar to an epitaph but spontaneous.  Some final words are eerie and other final words are simply humorous.

CELEBRITIES WHO DIED TOO YOUNG

Celebrities such as Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson and Amy Winehouse died too young.  Whitney Houston famously said “I’m gonna go see Jesus, want to see Jesus”.  Her eerie final words were followed by her daughter’s death not too long after that. Michael Jackson simply said, “More milk”, which referred to the drugs he took, which ended up taking his life in an overdose.  The talented Amy Winehouse said, “I don’t want to die.”  Neither did the rest of the world.  A great talent lost, one which we all feel deeply.

FUNNY FINAL WORDS

Humphrey Bogart, a beloved actor had a great line on his death bed.  He said, “I should have never switched from Scotch to Martinis”.  Will you have a regret like this at the end of your life?  If so, you may want to switch back to Scotch! With some humor and disappointment, Eugene O’Neil, a playwright said, “I knew it.  I knew it. Born in a hotel room – and God damn it – died in a hotel room.”  Very funny indeed.  Oscar Wilde’s final words were “The wallpaper and I are fighting a duel to the death.”  Wouldn’t you love to see the wallpaper?

BOREDOM DOES KILL, WITH AGE

But, Winston Churchill just got bored of everything and must have needed a change.  He said, “I’m bored with it all”.  Some dignitaries, who were also celebrities in their day, such as Louis XIV, the Kind of France asked, “Why do you weep.  Did you think I was immortal?”.  It would be quite eerie if he had been immortal.

NOT EERIE HERE, JUST PRACTICAL

But some celebrities had a blast and expressed this feeling at the very end with their final words.  Errol Flynn, also a remarkable actor before most of our time, said, “I’ve had a hell of a lot of fun and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it.”  Now that is the way to go!  And the best way to go according the Beethoven’s final words were not eerie at all.  He said, “Friends applaud, the comedy is over.”  We shall keep applauding indeed!  But Ethel Barrymore said it best, “Is everyone happy?  I want everybody to be happy.  I know I’m happy.”  That’s love on a deathbed.
