CELEBRATE CRAZY AND WACKY HOLIDAYS THAT ARE SHOCKINGLY REAL
Valentine’s Day is coming up pretty soon, but what about some other fun Holidays you had no clue existed? Wouldn’t National Punctuation Day be much more fun to celebrate? You can vocalize your punctuations and get to correcting. What’s more fun than that? Well, besides getting drunk. Or maybe anything else you’ve ever heard of. But there are many other wacky holidays that you may want to explore, alone or to meet new people and maybe even to celebrate with your loved ones. What’s better than Valentine’s Day? Maybe Blame Someone Else Day? Now we’re talking. No, really. Blame Someone Else Day is a real holiday. Everyone should celebrate crazy holidays.
HEARD OF BLAME SOMEONE ELSE DAY? MAYBE CELEBRATE EVERY DAY?
Blame Someone Else Day, is the first Friday the 13th of the year, and it’s all about not taking any responsibility for anything you did wrong. It was invented by Anne Moeller of Clio, in Michigan. Basically, her alarm didn’t go off in the morning and it messed up her day. So, she invented a day to remember this messed up day for the rest of her life. Good times… There are some peeps in Washington D.C. that seem to celebrate this holiday, every day. But we’ve all heard of someone like that, right?
WHAT’S BETTER THAN HALLOWEEN? ICE CREAM FOR BREAKFAST DAY!
Better than Halloween may be Ice Cream for Breakfast Day. It has been around since the sixties. It was cold and snowy in Rochester, New York (shocking!) so Florence Rappaport started this wacky holiday for her kids. Her kids loved it so much that they would remind their mom every year, and hence a new tradition was celebrated now and forever. This should be an every day holiday.
ARRRG-YUE ON TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY, THEN CELEBRATE KISS AND MAKE UP DAY
August 25th is the day we should all celebrate Kiss and Make Up Day, which began back in 1992. If you need to make amends and they are long overdue, fix it all on this wacky holiday. But the ultimate holiday to invest in now is, Talk Like a Pirate Day. This one has also existed since the nineties. Two buddies from Oregon invented this holiday and we love them for it. If you want want to arrrg-yue or wear an eye mask and jewelry, this is the day for you. If you’ve ever done cosplay this is clear. Well, if you’ve even been tempted to go to a Comic Con, we don’t have to tell you to celebrate crazy holidays. You kind of do that already.
