California Creeper Licks Doorbell for Three Hours

HOME SURVEILLANCE CATCHES CALIFORNIA CREEPER LICKING DOORBELL

People have home surveillance systems for all sorts of reasons.  But security is always at the top of the list.  So what happens when you install a brand new surveillance system on your home, only to find that it shows you things you maybe never wanted to know?  That is certainly how I would have felt to some degree about this crazy story.  The Dungan family in Salinas, California had recently installed their surveillance system.  And they discovered something incredibly strange.  Their alert system showed them a creeper man, Roberto Daniel Arroyo, licking their doorbell for three hours.  What the hell is wrong with people?

WHO LICKS A DOORBELL FOR THREE HOURS, ANYWAY? A CREEPER

The Dungans were actually away from home when this happened.  But their kids were at home.  So it’s a good thing they put the system in.  One of the things their system is able to do is send alerts when there is movement by the front door.  You know, like some random guy licking your doorbell for three hours.  That kind of thing.  But Sylvia Dungan at least kept her sense of humor.  She said, “You kind of laugh about it afterwards because, technically, he didn’t harm anybody, he didn’t break anything.”

But this would upset anyone.  She continued, “I thought, boy there’s a lot of traffic. I go, 5:00 in the morning? My son doesn’t get home till 6am, well then who the heck is that?”  The footage also showed Arroyo taking an extension cord and moving it to their front yard.  You can also see him “relieving himself” at one point as well.  But there are reports that he also visited another nearby home.  Police were pretty pleased with the footage.  A police spokesperson said, “We were pleasantly surprised the image was so clear it didn’t take us long to identify the individual.”  Arroyo may face misdemeanor charges of prowling and petty theft.

Keep those cameras rolling…
