CALIFORNIA MEGACHURCH, BETHEL CHURCH, FUNDRAISING BY RAISING BABY FROM THE DEAD
So much for the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Because there are no good intentions in this whole escapade. A little girl with the name Olive Heiligenthal passed away a week ago. She was only two years old. We don’t know how she died. But just that she stopped breathing and medics were not able to resuscitate her. So that’s horribly tragic for the little girl and her family. But you wouldn’t think anyone would, or could, try to turn a profit from such a tragedy. And yet, you’d be totally wrong. Because a California Megachurch is doing just that. The Bethel Church it literally fundraising by supposedly raising the baby Olive from the dead.
BETHEL CHURCH EXHORTS EVERYONE TO PRAY TO RAISE 2-YEAR-OLD GIRL FROM DEAD, WITH GOFUNDME PAGE
So yeah. That’s kind of tough to understand. If you aren’t a wolf in sheep’s clothing, that is. And by that, I mean a totally different metaphor, regarding if you work for the guy upstairs, vs. the guy downstairs. So what is this California megachurch? The Bethel Church, in Redding, California. They are asking folks to pray for the little girl’s resurrection by raising her from the dead. They’re even using social media to get the word out. But there’s also a GoFundMe account for the little Olive’s family. But we don’t know what the money’s for? See, pretty dicey, that one there.
BETHEL MEGACHURCH EVEN HAS DEAD RAISING TEAM, CLAIMS 15 SUCCESSES TO DATE
The Heiligenthal family has posted updates every day on how the prayer effort is doing, trying to bring Olive back to life. The posts include video of people praying at Bethel Church. But Bethel Church, evidently, is no stranger to attempting to raise the dead! They even have an initiative, the “Dead Raising Team.” The team tails first responders. So yeah, guess where this is going? The Team then prays to raise the recently deceased back from the dead. So far, they claim to have “brought about 15 resurrections amidst the 60 teams worldwide.”
I don’t know about you. But I’m praying to God that these folks faith will….. evolve.
