ITALIANS IN BOLZANO THROW PARTY TO INTENTIONALLY TRY TO CATCH COVID, KILLING ONE SO FAR
Thank you, Italy! It’s nice to know that people are totally @$%&^$ nuts all over the world and not just in the United States of Covid Denial. So ok, maybe that’s not totally fair. 80% of American adults have gotten at least one dose of a Covid vaccine. And soon, it looks like American kids will soon have the opportunity in large number too. But it’s those pesky Covid deniers that are keeping the pandemic rolling strong. And a party in Bolzano, Italy looks like the epitome of that foolishness. It was a party people went to trying to catch Covid. And it sure as hell worked, with a number of infections and at least one death so far. And authorities there are now investigating this deadly stupidity.

AVOIDING VACCINE, FOOLISH PEOPLE WANT TO SCORE A PASS WITH A COVID RECOVERY
Bolzano is a province in northern Italy. Evidently, in northern Italy who don’t want to get the Covid vaccine have been trying to catch Covid so they can get a Green Pass to go to work, bars and restaurants. Oh, and be able to travel on public transportation. What this means is, that if you had Covid and recover, you get a Green Pass for 6 months. A vaccination, of course, would provide the same. But this party in Bolzano was attended by some pretty foolish folks who simply want to avoid the vaccine at all costs. And it’s proven costly in hindsight.

But this local foolishness is quite common in the Bolzano region, which is in a german-speaking area along Italy’s border with Austria. And yes, the area is Europe’s location for the highest Covid case numbers along with the lowest vaccination rates. But parties like the one now under investigation seem to be too much, especially with yet another dangerous variant about to spread across the world. People go to these parties to intentionally mingle, hug, and kiss people who have Covid! They even share beer bottles to spread those deadly germs. I suppose it’s no surprise that Bolzano has seen Covid infections jump by 300% in only the last month.
