TRUMP EVEN MORE RACIST THEN WE THOUGHT, AS BLACK FARMERS ONLY GOT 0.1% OF AID RELIEF MONEY
So there sure seems to be an ugly trend after 4 years of the Trump presidency. Racists have more than crawled out from under their dank rocks. They are parading around, being racist, insisting that you are racist for calling them out. And yes, there’s Georgia and all the other Red states making our elections more “secure” by making it harder for minorities to vote. It’s old, but new again. But the recent news about black farmers only getting 0.1% of the money from the Covid farming relief pot is breathtaking. And yes, that was under the Trump Administration.

OUT OF $26 BILLION, BLACK FARMERS ONLY GOT A PITTANCE, $20.8 MILLION
So ok, that pot of money had the name, Coronavirus Food Assistance Program, or CFAP. It sounds like food stamps. But it was for small businesses, aka farmers. But 99% of that moolah to keep farms in business went to white farmers. Really. Let that sink in a little. Because you can damn well assume that of all the farmers in these here United States, more than 1% of them are black, African-American, NOT white. So how much money was there in the CFAP pile? $26 billion. How much of that went to black farmers? $20.8 million. Across the entire country.

So if that seems a little suspicious, that’s because it is. And you may have already heard. But the pandemic is hitting African Americans even harder than, well, white people. And it’s hitting white people hard, especially economically. But if you are a black farmer, you’re feeling it even worse. So what’s to do? Well, you may have heard of the latest relief checks, from the American Rescue Plan? You know, Biden? Well, part of that bill takes aim at this disparity, dedicating about $5.2 billion to disadvantaged farmers. 25% of whom are black.
