LOADED SHOTGUN IN BACKSEAT WITH KIDS LEADS TO TODDLER SHOOTING MOM IN THE BACK
This shit has seriously got to stop. Here we have yet another completely preventable shooting. But this time, the victim was a mom. So obviously the shooting was an accident. How else could you possibly explain a toddler shooting his mother in the back with a shotgun from the backseat of a car? But to be precise, the child shot their mother through the seat of the car. This shit has seriously got to stop. If the gun wasn’t there, it doesn’t happen. If it was not loaded, no shooting happens. But all the more, if there was any common fucking sense, the shooting doesn’t happen.

THERE WERE THREE KIDS ALONE IN THE BACKSEAT WITH THE LOADED SHOTGUN
The shotgunned mother suffered critical wounds from the blast. It happened last Wednesday in mid-afternoon in Norwalk, California. Police responding at the scene discovered a woman who had been shot in her upper torso. Police Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez reported, “Preliminary information gathered at the scene revealed that the female’s three children were in the backseat of the vehicle when one of the children accessed an unsecured shotgun and shot her through the back of the seat.” See? The story just got even worse. There were three kids in the backseat with a loaded shotgun.

So that’s how a 4-year-old child ends up shooting his mother in the back with a shotgun. But here’s how it could have been worse in a number of ways. So obviously, the mother could have died. But the blast could have killed or severely injured everyone in the car. Shrapnel isn’t something you can predict. But you can’t predict buckshot, either. So what can you predict? You can predict that this shit will keep happening until we have some real laws protecting us from ourselves. And our neighbors. Fortunately, the woman shot here is doing better. Her condition at the hospital improved to fair.
Police have arrested a man for leaving the loaded shotgun in the car. He will be hit with multiple felony charges. The arrested man was not in the car at the time of the shooting. It is not clear if he is a family member or what his relation is to the family. So far, authorities have not released anyone’s name.
