Erin L. Nissley
Erin L. Nissley is a contributor to TheBlot Magazine. She has been a journalist and editor for over a decade, mostly writing about crime, courts and general wackiness -- including the still-unsolved disappearance of a small-town district attorney in Pennsylvania in 2005. She has also interviewed Nelly, back when "Country Grammar was topping the charts. Growing up near Washington, D.C. instilled in her a love of museums, politics and driving too close to the vehicle in front of her. Now a proud resident of a medium-sized town in Northeastern Pennsylvania, she spends her spare time gardening, reading and going to rock concerts -- the louder and sweatier, the better. She has spent years perfecting her chili recipe but has yet to master the appropriate icing-to-cupcake ratio. She is an Instagram addict, with her favorite subject being her mutt, Ruff Waldo Emerson.
