AT TRAFFIC STOP, ARKANSAS WOMAN SAYS BROTHER GAVE HER A METH SANDWICH
So I have never, ever, heard of anything like a methamphetamine sandwich. Well, until now, that is. But whatever is going on in Arkansas needs to stay….. in Arkansas. About a week ago, Hot Springs police arrested two siblings on drug related charges. But as you can see from the picture, these are not your normal siblings. At all. Her name is Elizabeth Catlett and she is 29 years old. Her brother is 33-year-old Don Furr. And yes, that is his real name. But police arrested the two for drugs and….. Elizabeth told them her brother gave her a meth sandwich. And no, I don’t understand that either.

POLICE PULLED THEM OVER AS SHE WAS DRIVING AT NIGHT WITH NO HEADLIGHTS ON
Hot Springs is about 55 miles to the south and west of Little Rock, which most of us have heard of. Police pulled their car over as Elizabeth was driving, at night, with no headlights on. Her brother Don was in the passenger seat. Police say that they smelled weed in the car on the traffic stop and that Elizabeth was “moving about the vehicle in a quick, nervous manner.” Oops. So of course the police asked them if there were any drugs in the vehicle. And of course Elizabeth said no, there weren’t. But when police searched her, they found plastic bags and “cut straw” in her pocket. They also said there was supposed meth residue, as well. Don’t worry, we’re getting to the meth sandwich soon!

So of course Elizabeth said she had no idea where the bags came from. But when police asked her brother if there was anything illicit in the car, he said, “If there is anything in the car it would be in the console and it would be ice.” Hmmm. Oops again. Why? Because when police searched the car they found half a gram of crystal meth, alcohol swabs as well as medical supplies. So then Elizabeth said that if she “pops hot,” a term that means she tests positive for having done drugs, it’s because of the meth sandwich she got from her brother.
So thanks Arkansas! You can send these two to go live in Florida. Well, when they get out of jail, that is.
