Arizona State Senator to Tax Porn to Pay for Border Wall

ARIZONA SENATOR GAIL GRIFFIN WANTS TO TAX PORN TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN

So much for the internet being for porn!  At least, according to Arizona State Senator Gail Griffin.  This Republican has introduced a bill that would obligate both computer and phone retailers to install porn blocking software.  But why?  To protect us all from moral turpitude?  Nah.  To force consumers to pay at least $20 to have it removed.  So why?  To help pay for a border wall to make America great again, one flogged dolphin at a time.  No, seriously, Gail Griffin wants to tax Americans for porn.  On the internet.  By blocking technology they have paid for from accessing free information.  This doesn’t even make any sense!  But it could actually happen.

YOU’D HAVE TO PAY A FEE TO REMOVE ADWARE FROM COMPUTERS, PHONES, ALL TO BUILD THE WALL

But Senator Griffin is no stranger to being a freak right-wing zealot.  She’s tried to make it legal for Arizona teachers to put “God enriches” in public schools.  She also introduced a bill back in 1999 that the NRA practically wrote.  What did that try to do?  Make it impossible to sue gun manufacturers.  And now she wants to create a precedent to tax Americans for watching porn.  But what is porn?  According to this bill, nudity that includes any “female breast below a point immediately above the top of the areola” and “male genitals in a discernibly turgid state, whether covered or uncovered.”  This bitch is crazy.

RETAILERS COULD STICK YOU WITH EVEN MORE FEES, BUT THEY’D HAVE TO PLAY PORN COP, TOO

This porn-filter software you’d have to pay to have removed would cost you at least $20 to remove.  Why at least?  Gail Griffin is trying to sweeten the pot to get retailers on board with this insane idea.  Her bill would allow them to charge you even more, pure profit in their pocket.  But the wall!! The wall!! We have to make America Great Again!  Even more ominously, the bill would require retailers to create a way for Arizona residents to report anything “obscene” that gets thru the filter.  But this would put retailers on the hook to regulate what Griffin says is porn!  And if they fail to do so, they get fined $500 every time.

Hey, wait a minute. Don’t we have something we call the constitution? I guess we’ll find out.
