SOMEONES IN TROUBLE, AIRDROPPED PLANE CRASH PICS SEND PLANE BACK TO TERMINAL
Technology keeps unfolding new fiascos faster than common sense can keep up. The latest stupidity someones thought was a funny idea happened in Israel. To be fair, the idea of this stupidity is something that might have appealed to me as an adolescent. Fortunately, Airdrop, never mind cell phones, wasn’t a reality back then. But a flight that left Ben Gurion Airport had to turn around after someones Airdropped plane crash pics to everyone on board. And yes, someones is a spell check nightmare. AIRDROPPED PICS CAUSED SO MUCH PANIC, PILOT CALLED POLICE AND TURNED PLANE AROUND
So obviously, making people scared on an airplane is never a good idea. And who Airdrops thematic disaster pics of plane crashes on a plane to everyone on the plane? People just might panic. And, well, that’s exactly what happened. The Airdropped pics caused so much panic that the pilot called the police and returned the plane to the terminal. And, to be fair, that’s the only safe terminal word to use in this affair. Media still describes all of this as some kind of mystery. Yet Reuters is saying that police arrested 9 people so far. Hence the someones.

The returned plane full of panicking people was an AndoluJet heading for Istanbul. At first, there was some thought that this was some sort of cyberattack using the network on the plane. But no, 9 someones are under arrest for Airdropped pics of plane crashes on a plane taxiing for takeoff. Even more strange is that all 9 are Israeli citizens. Authorities removed them from the flight and could face serious charges. You know, disseminating false information? If a court finds them guilty, they’ll have to wait up to 3 years to get to Istanbul. Well, if they’re ever allowed to board a plant to anywhere, ever again.
That reminds me, set my iPhone to NOT accept Airdrops that aren’t contacts. Yet another reason.
