To combat our winter doldrums during the latest Snowmageddon, here are five sexy U.S. cities we’re fantasizing about — and one of them isn’t even warm!

For most of the country, this time of year is just about the worst. It’s after the winter holidays, but before the Super Bowl and Valentine’s Day. There isn’t much out there to warm our hearts or toes, but don’t worry: Sexy and interesting places do still exist — just not where you may be, especially if you’re on the East Coast right down during “Snowmageddon 2015.”

To combat these winter doldrums why not fantasize about, or actually visit, one of these five very sexy U.S. cities? These are places full of passionate, active people and excitement, and each one could provide enough memories to last until spring.

So sit back, relax and in no time, you will be imagining yourself on the Florida coast or under a Joshua tree in the Mojave Desert.

1. MIAMI

Yes, Miami is No. 1, how could it not be? This is the sexiest U.S city because of the lack of clothes, sure, but also the Cuban- and Caribbean-influenced food and culture. If you can’t have a good time here, you’re not looking hard enough. Other things that make Miami No. 1? Beaches, hot sports cars and pulsating Latin rhythms.

2. LAS VEGAS

Anytime is the right time to party in this town, a place where people go to forget. Since the “What append in Vegas stays in Vegas” marketing line has become popular, it seems travelers to Sin City are even more seriously determined to go rock-star crazy here. This vacation destination has become popular with all age groups as Vegas plays host to many trying to live up to the citys motto by being even wilder and crazier.

With its pampering luxury hotels to full-service day spas and other luxury amenities, there is never a lack of options here, and for the guys on the lookout, there is plenty to watch as well …

3. NEW ORLEANS

The Big Easy is home to strip joints, sweaty jazz clubs and gigantic, low-priced huge cocktails. Oh, and some big party where people throw beads at each other, Mardi something? Yes, I think it’s safe to say N’awlins knows how to throw a party.

4. SAN DIEGO

Since the temperature in Ron Burgundy’s hometown often does not drop below 60 degrees, everyone is always outside in this beachside city. Oh, did I mention it’s by the beach? People here are really healthy, too, which means their bodies are well-tanned and toned. The SoCal cusine and excellent seafood also help San Diegans maintain those beautiful bodies. Stay classy? Hell, yes!

5. NEW YORK CITY

Obviously not the warmest place in America this time of year, but in the City That Never Sleeps, there’s always someplace to warm your cockles, especially with bars open until 4 a.m. If you visit, try not to wear yourself out; we’re used to it, but the rest of the country tends to go a bit nuts here.

While that’s totally cool, try to take in a museum, even for an hour, between beers. From new, trendy Meatpacking District nightclubs to the thousands of bars and clubs from Battery Park to Harlem, NYC is where the world comes to celebrate — no matter the time of year.
