SEX SURVEY REVEALS THAT WOMEN ARE MORE SEXUALLY CONFIDENT THAN EVER
It’s been discovered that one in four women masturbate every day! The Blot’s exclusive sex survey for women only, we asked the X rated and intimate questions and you revealed all. From porn habits to self-pleasure, hundreds of our readers took part in our exclusive and unleashed sex survey. And it seems that women are more sexually confident than ever before.
A PORN A DAY, KEEPS THE MEN AWAY
For starters, one in ten of you claims to watch porn every day, every single day! “For many women, porn movies are a huge turn on,” explains sex and relationships expert Rachel Loko.“But for ages they’ve been too ashamed or embarrassed to admit it, as growing up it was something that men did, not women. “There’s been an increase in women porn directors producing female-positive films, too, which has no doubt helped us feel more comfortable in watching it – and admitting we do.”

FEMALE MASTERBATION SHOCKING HIGH AND SET TO RISE
But porn is not the only “me” time women are enjoying on a daily basis. According to our survey in conjunction with sex toy retailer Ann Summers, an eye-popping one in four admit to masturbating every day. Yes, really. And according to Rachel, these numbers are only set to rise. “While it’s still a bit of a taboo subject, there are a lot more women talking about masturbation on TV shows, in films and in books these days. There’s no doubt that the more it gets spoken about, the more people will feel comfortable doing it,” she says.
SEX TOYS FUN FOR SINGLES AND COUPLES
Our results also revealed that an impressive eight out of 10 married women admitted to using sex toys regularly, compared to just 54% of singletons – with clitoral stimulation devices proving the most popular at 83%. That’s nearly double the number of people who favored a trusty vibrating rabbit. “Sex toys can be loads of fun to use on your own or with a partner,” says Rachel. “And it should be noted that just because a woman in a relationship uses them, it doesn’t mean she has an unsatisfactory sex life. Perhaps she just loves sex and wants to enhance the experience.
“Whether you’re single or not, toys shouldn’t be considered as a replacement for anything, but instead something that’s adding to it.” “Overall, it’s a really positive message for women,” says Rachel Loko.
It shows that when it comes to sex, it’s not always about relying on a partner or putting them first. Women are finally making their sexual needs a priority, and that can only be a good thing.
